PointsNerd.ca: Calgary Travel Hacking MeetUp (May 18)
My buddy Jayce from PointsNerd.ca is hosting a Calgary Travel Hacking Meetup. He’s one of the nicest and most knowledgeable travel hackers I know. He’s taught me a lot and I’m confident you’ll learn a lot from him. He was a guest speaker at PointsU (Canadian Points and Miles Conference).
The event is free and will take place on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Swine & Sow (131 6th Ave SW) from 6-8pm. Due to space restrictions, he can only accept the first 40 RSVP‘s so register now if you’re interested. I’ll be there and hope to see some of you there as well.
Welcome to what we hope will be the first of many PointNerd Meetups. Join your fellow Travel Hackers for a chance to network and chat about how to maximize your points for travel.
Here’s what you can expect at the first session:
- A chance to meet your fellow Travel Hackers
- An opportunity for a Questions and Answers session with PointsNerd
- A walk through of how to find and book your award
The plan is to walk through an award search so you can see hands on how I do it while giving you a chance to follow along. If you RSVP early enough, I will send you a “what to bring” checklist so you can have the right software for the session.
There will also be a Question and Answer session where you can pepper me with your questions.
Due to space restrictions, we can only accept the first 40 RSVPs so please register early and spread the word!
While the event is FREE, please support the venue by ordering food and/or drink. For a listing of menu items and prices, please refer to their website at http://swineandsow.com/. Thanks!
