BLOG NEWS: Toronto Deals Blog was featured in the Toronto Star!

Toronto Star reporter Vanessa Lu contacted me a couple weeks ago and wanted to interview me and write an article about Toronto Deals Blog! I of course graciously accepted! The phone interview lasted a little over half an hour and the article was published in the Toronto Star newspaper a couple Saturday’s ago! I apologize it took me so long to post about it. I really wanted to post an electronic copy of the article so it would be easier to read, but I couldn’t find one so I took a picture of it with my camera. You can click the image above or click here to read the article. It’s a lot easier to read if you save the image on your computer and then enlarge the image with your photo viewer.

I’ve never had my name featured in the paper before so I was very excited when I first saw it. I immediately posted the picture of the article on my Facebook page and told all my friends and family about. I purchased a bunch of copies of the paper and even framed a copy of the newspaper clipping 🙂

The website traffic spiked like crazy the day the article was published. We saw a huge amount of Torontonians visit the blog and subscribed to our daily deals emailing list.

I am very grateful of all the support and can’t thank each and everyone of you enough for reading and supporting Toronto Deals Blog. I only started this blog about 6 months ago and I would have never thought my little blog about shopping deals would ever get so many readers and be featured on Global TV News and in the Toronto Star! It’s been a fun and incredible ride thus far and I can’t wait to see what the future will bring. I’ll continue to work hard and happily wake up every morning at 3am so I can find and share all of Toronto’s best and hottest deals with you.
